Q: What happens after I book online?
A: After booking online you will get a confirmation screen showing that the booking was successful, the total amount, the deposit taken, and the details of when the final payment is due.
You will also receive an email at the same time containing the same information.
During the next Business day Bachcare will send a detailed email with instructions on how to gain access to the chalet, who to contact in Ohakune etc.

Q: If I see that the dates I want are available on the Bachcare calendar and then book online, can I be assured that the Chalet is truly available?
A: Yes, the Bachcare calendar is real-time and is always up to date. If you want to secure your preferred dates then the best way to do this is to book online. Bachcare also have an offline option which is manually processed by Bachcare on the next business day. If you choose the offline option, other people can book your preferred dates using the online option until Bachcare have processed your request. Q: When I go to book online the total is more than I expected?
A: This can happen when you book 7 days or more and are entitled to the weekly discounted rate. When you book online, Bachcare calculates the total based on the nightly rate X the number of days you wish to stay. If your stay is more than 7 days you will automatically be entitled to the weekly discounted rate but this will not appear on the initial booking. Bachcare will refund you the difference when the process the booking.
